Educational Qualifications
- The minimum educational qualification for appointment to the post of Gram Panchayat Secretary is passing the Higher Secondary Board Examination.
- A one-year diploma in Data Entry Operator/Programming from a recognized institution is required.

- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format issued by the District Panchayat Kanker. The application form must be accompanied by:
- A passport-size photograph,
- Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates,
- Marriage certificate (optional), and
- Qualification-related documents.
- The application form format can be viewed on the notice board of the District Panchayat Kanker and the concerned Janpad Panchayats.
- For reserved category candidates, only permanent caste certificates issued by a competent authority as per state government notification will be valid.
- For OBC candidates, an income certificate (Creamy Layer/Non-Creamy Layer) issued by a competent officer will be accepted.
- All certificates must be issued on the format prescribed by the Government of Chhattisgarh. Certificates not in the prescribed format will not be considered.
- Applications that are incomplete, unclear, incorrect, or contain false information will be rejected. Legal action may also be taken against such applicants as per rules.
- It is mandatory for the applicant to have a valid employment registration on the date of application.
